The process.
From the day you inquire to the day your heirloom film lands in your inbox is roughly 10 months for most weddings. Here's what happens between.
-
Inquire.
Tell us your date, venue, and a sentence about each other. We respond within 48 hours with availability, a rough investment range, and three available calendar slots for a discovery call.
Time on your end: ~10 minutes.
-
Discovery call.
A 30-minute video call with the lead filmmaker (Max). We hear how you met, what your day looks like, what films you've watched and loved, anything you're worried about. The film starts here, before the camera turns on.
Time on your end: 30 minutes.
-
Booking & contract.
If we're a fit, we send a contract and 30% deposit invoice. Date is locked when both are returned. We add you to our private client portal where you'll see schedules, deliverables, and the project moving forward.
-
Pre-production call.
Six weeks out, we sync on the day-of timeline, key moments you want captured, family considerations, any creative requests (a specific song, a private reading, a surprise). We talk to your planner if you have one. We share a shot list.
-
The day.
A two-shooter team plus a producer (three people, sometimes four). Cinema bodies on the principal coverage, anamorphic glass for the emotional beats, broadcast-quality audio. Calm crew that knows when to disappear into the background.
Coverage typically runs from 90 minutes before the ceremony through the first hour of dancing — about 10–12 hours. Documentary-tier weddings get coverage of rehearsal dinner and morning-after as well.
-
The teaser.
A 60–90 second cut delivered four to eight weeks after the wedding. Color-graded, sound-designed, ready to share. The piece you'll send your parents the morning it lands.
-
The heirloom film.
A 5–8 minute cinematic film. Two rounds of revisions baked in. Custom score (or licensed music if requested). Delivered as 4K master plus social-format cuts (vertical, square) for sharing.
This is the piece your grandchildren will watch.
-
The documentary cut.
A 20–35 minute long-form documentary cut for couples in the documentary package. Includes interviews captured during the day, full ceremony, full first dance, full toasts. The film for the family archive.
-
Lifetime access.
All deliverables stay in your client portal for the life of Filmit. Need another download in 10 years? Email us. Want a re-cut for a milestone anniversary? We've done it. Your film doesn't expire.
What you don't have to do.
Direct the shoot. We have a shot list and a producer; you have a wedding to be present at.
Pose for camera. We capture you the way you actually are.
Pick songs. We score the cut; you can swap if you want, but most couples don't.
Worry about the schedule. We coordinate with your planner directly.
Pay extra for travel. Destinations are quoted all-in.
Wait a year. Teaser in 8 weeks, heirloom in 16. We hit our dates.
